Simple and quick suggestion, use something like this plugin: http://community.mybb.com/mods.php?action=view&pid=462

The idea is to force users to leave certain information before creating a new thread to ask for theme support, like:

-URL of their site
-Test account
-Explanation of the problem itself

We (staff and users) always ask this three things, maybe is time to put this as default for all the members.

We were/are considering that for support forums, most likely as MySupport feature.
