I am wanting to place a background behind the header and when I do it goes through the entire page. How do you place a bg image behind the logo without it going through the entire page.
I looked at the templates to see if there was a way to close the header off from the rest of the page but the editing options there are very minimal.
I want a bg behind the header and another behind the rest of the site.
To help further what I am trying to do is port one of our KDC skins to mybb.
The skin I want to port is http://72.29.89.114/~nutterz/forums/

To answer your question.., yes it can be done. try removing the logo code in your header and writing your own. also you will need to throw your css coding in your themes css or you can pull a css from elsewhere on your site. The actual step by steps on how to do what you are asking may be a bit long and confusing but yes it can be done.

The problem is that I see no code to edit or remove in the acp. So does that mean I have to edit the files themselves? Hmmm.. not keen on that idea.

Look in: Admin CP -> Templates -> header

The logo code is in there.
