incorrect usage of your bold mycode confuses more than helping.. if i understand correctly, you want to change the font color of thread subject box.. it is usually controlled by the "input.textbox" css selector... you can check its background and color properties in global.css... providing your forum url would be helpful to identify the issue easily..
