Hey guys,

in a private plugin named DVZ_Shoutbox with Private messages the link to avatars causes the user to redirect to root/Users-{username}

while I want it to either change it back to Typing @"{Username}" in the Text Field or simple change the link to

member.php?action=profile&uid=

so itsaccesible instead of giving an error.

I tried using Google Seo, it did replace the profile links with root/Users-{username} but The profiles werent located there and causes an error.

Or Alteratively if you could help me how to redirect Uid to users-{username} from .htaccess (if that solves he problem)

I can PM you the .js if you wish to help.
Thankyou Smile

Till here

Sorry to bump but UPDATE:

I Installed Google SEO and did everything fine except for the .htaccess

I have this in my htaccess.txt on server

Where's the error?
htaccess.txt is just an example, the file must be called .htaccess

that fixed it. thanks for help, now the GOOGLE SEO does not show any errors but when I activate it, it still shows 404 Error :/

Now that I reverted the changes and replaced back the .htaccess till further assistance, it still redirects posts with lastaction to the threads with names and result in 404 error. Sad
Did you apply the changes to the core file?

Yes I did to functions.ini Smile
Bump?
If you get 404 errors for the Google SEO URLs, it means your rewrites don't work for some reason.

The rewrite rules provided by Google SEO work for the most common setup (Apache). If you're using alternative webservers, or some kind of caching mechanisms, ... it's up to you to make things work, it depends on your webserver setup. If you're on shared hosting, maybe ask your host if you have to do anything special to make rewrite rules work.
alright. thankyou for the help Smile
