I would like to know how my members found out my forum. Let's say they found it on site611.com, I would like a plug-in saying that the referred link is site611.com

There is Google Analytics saying that, but I want to know about my members only, not every visitor.

Does this plug-in already exist? If possible, I need one that saves the referred link as cookie instead of the DB (when they login, it gets saved to the DB using the cookie data).
Not sure, are you talking about this plugin ! http://community.mybb.com/mods.php?action=view&pid=288
No, I am not talking about referral links, I am talking about referred links.

Referral links:
mysite.com/ref?=user1
mysite.com/ref?=user3
mysite.com/ref?=user31
mysite.com/ref?=user71

Referred links:
google.com
facebook.com/this-user-status
mybb.com/promotion-thread

Bump!
So you want to know which site referred a member to sign-up/log-in at your site? I will see what I can do.

Yes, but it would be more effective if it stores as a cookie since the start. One that lasts 3days should be fine.

I will be waiting for the result!
^ have you seen http referrers plugin

It is not exactly what I need, this seems to be a SEO plug-in to track referers, but I want to know where they come from when they register their account.

Thanks for linking a similar plug-in, I guess I can make my own using this one Smile
