HI all,

my forum works fine, i use firefox and i can do everything.
But other people who use Internet Explorer, can't login when they want to post. Then they ask to login, or all the time

Can someone plz help me ?

Greetz Stan

EDIT: I use Wampp!! and host the site on my computer... meby someone got a resolution?
Tell them to make sure they've checked "remember my login details" in their UserCP. MyBB works fine in IE.
No that isn't the problem,

when i use IE ( or other people) and i try to login,

If your accessing it from localhost set the cookie domain to blank
I have the same problem and the General cookie settings are already set to blank. It works perfectly with Firefox, but not logging in with any IE6 or IE7.

See: www.dennistt.net/mybb/cookiesettings.php and set your cookie settings accordingly. Then logout and clear cookies and cache on IE.
Is there a way to make the forum look the same in Firefox and IE? Ive recently discovered that my forum 'looks' different in FF than it does in IE (for example in FF the forum is longer and some of the html colours do not appear in the member legend section).

In my theme section there are (default) extra CSS such as 'Content Container':

/* FIX: Make internet explorer wrap correctly */
width: auto !important;
padding: 2px;

They specifically mention Internet Explorer..and im wondering whether this is why my forum appears slightly different in FF? Do i have to add the same extra attribute for FF?

I would be very grateful for any help in this area or to be pointed in the right direction. My site is http://www.lostcommunity.co.uk, as i would like my forum to have the same look in Firefox as it does in IE (i use IE and have designed it using IE as my browser).

Thanks in advance if anyone can help/advise.

UPDATE: Ok, i have just found this thread, which is similar to the problem im having: http://community.mybboard.net/showthread.php?tid=19634, I will try my default theme and see if the problem still occurs, but please still offer advice if you think you can help, much apprecited.
