I'd like to add a background chooser to my theme but the tutorial I found on here for it don't work really well with the current MyBB version.

I can't get this to work at all.

then you must have done something wrong
i use a costum theme and add to modify a bit (the stylesheet for colors and the place where i want it) in order to fit my theme and have tryed now on mybb default theme and worked good

I tried with my modified theme it's just not wanting to work with all the other js files.
