I have been spammed by some silly fellow apparently emanating from RU who feels it appropriate to furnish my forum with lewd pictures of items of a very nasty nature. I can only say that at least eBay manages to make a profit out of all the tools they seem to enjoy.
So I need to remove this rubbish but cannot seems to delete multiple threads for some reason. I login to CP Admin and tick the threads but when I go to the bottom of the panel it does not show any threads selected. The only way I can seem to delete them is to go into each one and then tick the boxes. The go to the bottom and select pemanately delete. This is going to take me some time as the spammer(s) has put rather a lot of posts on there.
Also I cannot seem to set up my registration process so that I can approve new registrations. I searched for similar messages on this forum but the only one I found had a different CP to me. I am running 1.87
Any help will be appreciated.

I need to be able to stop registrations first so I can approve them before opening it again, but I cannot seem to find it in the configuration. I am using the "Corporate Theme" Also I delete the forum and re-added it to remove all the unwanted posting. I assume they will be purged from the DB at some stage.
your forum's current theme is not compatible with MyBB 1.8.x - hence you are facing javascript related problems.

it would be better to install & use a theme fully compatible with MyBB 1.8.x

Thanks for your help... I will change the theme.

Ok I have changed the theme to Sharepoint and opened the board again. I would like to be able tp prevent users registering without my approval. Can this be done as I assume I would have an email address set up to warn me that a new activation is pending and then approve it. Is this possible within the program or with a plugin...
