What would be the recommended best method of populating the portal.php page?
I would like to run a few auto-updated news feeds on the portal page. How do you recommend I go about this to maximise integration within the myBB framework? Should I set up the RSS2post mod and post the feeds to an invisible forum and from there expose them on the portal.php page? Or should I pull down the feeds with MagPie in to a separate file and use a php include to get them in to the portal?
Have any of your tried doing something like this? Or is there already a mod available to accomplish what I am attempting?
