is there a way i can link my amazon affliate link with banner showing  a products in a thread

if you want it at the top/bottom of the thread then you can add the code in showthread template of the theme

admin panel >> Templates & Style >> templates >> your theme templates >> show thread templates >> showthread
you can add the code below {$header} or above {$footer}
