Unsure of how to explain what i mean but i will try my best.

I recently updated my forum to 1.8.7

Since doing this, i have lost the ability as an admin to stick/unstick posts when looking at the forum.  It doesnt register me ticking the box.  I have to manually do it by going into the thread first, which is time consuming. Any ideas on a way to fix?

But the most important question i have is.  Since upgrading every user has lost the edit post option, and what i mean by that, is the option to bold etc, allign, add picture, add link, change text colour etc.  All that is none existant.  Anyone know how i can return it?  All i have option for is the text box plus smilies.

I am unsure as to if i need to provide anymore information about it.  But i am very happy to do so if someone can help me out.
ive added pic as attachment. my forum is here http://www.lisburn-gaming.co.uk/forum/index.php
It's because you're using a 1.6 theme on 1.8.

You'll either need to update the theme so it works for 1.8 or use a theme from here.

Oh great. Thanks I will look to change it them. Haven't don't that in quite awhile.

ow exactly do you update a theme itself?
updating 1.6.x version theme to 1.8.x is a complex task. it also consumes good amount of time.

basically below guidance needs to be followed
upgrading guidance Wrote:Visit your Admin Control Panel, then go to Templates & Style > Templates > Find Updated Templates.
This will show you a list of all the templates that have changed during the upgrade.

You can either revert these templates to their default - meaning all the changes you've made to it will be removed
- or you can see a Diff Report which will show you exactly what's changed. If you have a custom theme installed,
it is probably best that you look at the Diff Report and apply the changes you need.

you may also try this guidance => basic theme updating (1.6 - 1.8)

or as iAndrew suggested, it would be better to install & use a theme fully compatible with MyBB 1.8.x
