Whenever I go to do something in my admin cp, it gives this 406 error which tells that 
Not Acceptable
An appropriate representation of the requested resource /admin/index.php could not be found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

does the file physically exist at your forum files server ? what is your forum url ?

contact your web host and ask if they have mod_security (or similar additional security).
if they have it then ask to disable it for your site.
