Whats with all the whining ?
He is free to remove the branding from what I've read from the staff.
He has his reasons for wanting to remove (or change) it, that's non of your business (people criticizing him by stating "you're getting it free and blah blah blah" words to that effect)
He asks "I merely want something like "Contributed by MyBB" or "Inspired by MyBB" (Something not so mainstream) , "
And since he doesn't "need support" , he didn't even need to ask.
