My site chattyvalley.org won't load is matience going on with mybb? What's the problem?

Chattyvalley.org is loading fine for me, if the initial problem was a connection issue it's likely host related.

If you're trying to re-open the board look under Configuration > Settings > Board Settings > Board Online / Offline

Loads fine for me.
I hope you are not with a free host?
To cross check try using a diff browser or computer.
