I have created the MySQL database, assigned database user name , password and tested the connection MySQl works great.
This is a new install also
MyBB looked at my need software and said I met the requirements
I am now filling in the data in MyBB given it all the information it needs, but it says "Could not select the Database
any idea what the problem could be
O/S: Server 2012
DB: MySQL 5.7
Browser(s): IE 10 and Firefox
