so this broken image has been bothering me a lot now, I deleted the default avatar itself, but how do I remove the broken box permanently?

Quick edit: Yea that's not going to work if you want to keep the other avatars. Disregard this answer for now.

If you want to show other avatars, why not make a image looking like the background, and use that as default avatar?

it will still contain a hyperlink right? so that would be awkward
