MyBB Community Forums

hi been a while since i need to ask anything here. 

i run 2 sites one of which has a MYBB 1.8 forum

www.godneymoor.co.uk/forums was the old forum address

i have moved the site temporarily to www.minthairandbeauty.co.uk/Godney/Forum/

i forwarded the domain in the host (godaddy) control panel

but i do not know what to set my cookies to.

they are set as follows

$settings['cookiedomain'] = ".mintahirandbeauty.co.uk/Godney/";
$settings['cookiepath'] = "/forum/";
$settings['cookieprefix'] = "m18";

i have tried quite a few configurations  but to no avail

currently i can access the forum but not login also i get a white screen when attempting to login to the admin page.

cookie domain can be .mintahirandbeauty.co.uk & cookie path can be /Godney/forum/

note: URLs & settings can be case sensitive.

hmm did not work thats what i had never mind i will have to think of something else.

have you seen faq: login & login issues guidance ..

Because I have same kind of problem, I will post it in here instead of creating new one.

I have two boards. One of them is http://mitr.ga (working properly), under that I've made another board, which is http://fi.mitr.ga. However I can access the site by using mitr.ga/fi/ and fi.mitr.ga, and it's using now .fi.mitr.ga and path is /, everything else works, but I can't use the acp, logs me out and I've tried to set the cookies as the following threads have been there.

When I set them .mitr.ga and path /fi/ or only /, it doesn't work then anywhere.

The cookie settings should be okay, tried to refresh and hit the login few times, deleted cache and cookies, but it don't work. First time when I need to ask about MyBB anything... Teach me senpais.


EDIT: Problem solved, needed to put the domain without subdomain
