I've used this plugin on 1.6 & liked it very much, but do not see it available for 1.8 is it possible that someone could develop or upgrade the plugin for 1.8 use please.

Had a quick look at it, it should be already 1.8 compatible as you just need to change the compatibility line in the /inc/plugins/require_prefix.php file:

'compatibility' => '16*'

To:

'compatibility' => '16*, 18*'

Ok I saw that post regard compatibility line but was thrown off course a bit with the mention of mod_security,
still a bit of a noob but learning slowly
