Here is my google maps version of a Member Map

You need to get a free api key from google:
http://www.google.com/apis/maps/signup.html

You also need the free GeoLiteCity IP database from Maxmind: http://www.maxmind.com/download/geoip/da...ity.dat.gz

place the GeoLiteCity.dat in inc/skunkmap

UPDATED to fix some minor issues.

Having trouble getting this wok as thee is no read me.

How do i get this to work, and what do i need to do. I have uploaded all the files.

I knew I forgot something...a readme file!

Copy over the files to your mybb root.
Activate the plugin.
Edit the skunkmap.php in the root to have your proper API key.

Allows members to add a "pin" to a map for their location. Then, everyone can view a map that shows where everyone lives (or claims they live).

Well, why use an API when there's FRAPPR Sheesh I'm not kidding you, I LOVE my Frappr and it does sooooo much. Seriously, check it out, and my screen shot. I created an additional page for the forum and added my personal Frappr code to it and BAM! I have one cool member map. I like Frappr much better than Google also. Just for me, IMO anyhow.
