I get this error message:

The following errors were encountered:
  • The password you entered as confirmation does not match the original one. Please confirm your password correctly.

I didn't change the password, only the email address.

I've consistently noticed this during the week that I've had my MyBB running.  Whenever I edit a user's profile through the admin console, even if it's my own profile, I get that message.

I can only edit a profile from the user control panel.

I've seen that this error message happened in past versions too.

that is due to browser automatically filling password field with a value !
you may have to disable automatic form filling in your browser ..

Thanks.

This probably isn't a big deal, since so far I can just go through the user control panel.

But at least you provided me with a work around in case I need to do it through the admin control panel.
