I received a 'prompt' that suggested that I can send an eMail [NOT PM] to a fellow member. I did so, but now I can't find it. 

Question(s) By what means was it sent, e.g., "Windows Live Mail"? or what.
2nd Q...where are they stored so I can read them when sent + received?

if you have sent an email through this community forum then it is not available for seeing again.
there is no method to know if the other person received & read your email (unless the person replies back)
