I have a question about theming MyBB - and that would be:

Is there any simple way to design the entire theme at one swipe as I would do inside of vBulletin? As in, I create a header and a footer and I only need to add the html inside of the header and footer - everything else is updated with that look.

Below is what I am working on (in the design of one of my vBulletin forums.)


Any ideas or help would be very much appreciated!

You can create a new theme based off of your current theme and only modify the footer and header.

Thanks - I have used MyBB before but never gotten down into it's system previously.

I'm finding it to be a lot like vB in terms of functions and templates..... I may be able to switch some modifications over to MyBB - how hard would that be?

I haven't really looked at vB's PHP code at all, but I'm willing to venture a guess that the vBulletin PHP code is somewhat different from MyBB's PHP code. It wouldn't be impossible, but I don't think a copy and paste job would work.
