The issue simply is that.

when I login into the forum by the normal login form on the index page.

I cannot login.

It says You are successfully Logged In but It doesnt work ?

what is your forum path ? look at source code of the forum index page and give values of cookie domain, cookie path.

Also there might be issues with functions.php
