I noticed this problem wasn't just with the theme I installed, it's also an issue with the default mybb theme. Using the latest version of MyBB.

These are the only active plugins I have right now.
temporarily disable the plugins. does it fix referred issue ?

It did not unfortunately. Looks like the issue isn't caused by a plugin.

Tried that but it doesn't look like it reverts. Template text is still green as if it's been changed. Also copied/pasted index_stats from default theme and it didn't fix the problem.
hmm., that is strange. you may PM me temporary access to your forum admin panel to check it
however I can check it after about an hour ..
