I propose we add the ability for administrators to force users to change their username. They shouldn't be able to use the board until they change it. This would be good if members bypass the disallowed usernames or the word filter with special characters.
Seems like a pretty good idea. Wouldn't mind seeing it added.

I don't see this being used as often as to write it in the core.
Kind of where I stand too. I know there have been a few times where we might have wanted to do this here, but that's out of thousands of users, and so I'm not sure this would get enough use to warrant the code and/or maintenance of the feature.
This would really only be seen more in larger forums. When I took care of one such board, it would maybe be 1 or 2 a month that would need a name change.

Agreed. I know what it will take to code this in and it's not worth it.
