Hi, I just installed mybb 1.8.7 and all went well. I then was playing around with the theme trying to change the CSS and it worked once and now it is not working at all. Like if I change something in global.css it is not taking effect.
What is the problem? I have tried to change the CHMOD to 777 for all files and folders but still nothing, help!
Do you have Cloud Flare on your server? Turn it to developer mode otherwise your CSS edits will take a while to update.
No I don't have that, any other ideas why it is taking so long to take effect?
have you tried clearing browser cache (eg. by pressing CTRL + F5)
Yes, ctrl + f5, ctrl + r, did all that and also tried on different computers, it takes so long then it will change.
Please kindly advise me what else can i do, its so frustrating!
assuming that there are no mistakes in the code used,
looks like there is some weird Cache from the server. contact web host to get that fixed.
Okay, i'll ask my host and see what they say. Arghh..
