Hi!

My users in my forum complains that they only see "Alerts (1)", or "Alerts (2)" and so on.

They asked me to make it more popular ...

Well ... I thought it might help to auto-openĀ alerts.php if the number is >0?

Have you got any idea how to solve this? Or another idea to inform the user that the number of alarms is >0?

BR

Edit: I guess jquery is the way to go? Unfortunatly I got no expierience at all with jquery Sad
Auto redirecting would be quite annoying in my opinion. It's certainly possible using JavaScript, but it would maybe make more sense to just make it more obvious - such as by changing the colour when there are new alerts?
Anything will help ... at the moment there is absolut no difference between eg. Alerts (0) and Alerts (1)

different color ... increase fontsize ... show an icon? .. .whatever will be helpfull ...
Well, changing the size and colour are easy in CSS. When there's new alerts, the CSS class ".alerts--new" is added, you just need to add some CSS rules for that selector.
Thanks a lot!!!
