It will only send them as fast as your server decides to send them and they get processed by the recipient's email service; there's no way to force it through any quicker. if you're on a shared server, there may be a long mailqueue that you can't do a lot about.
Use a good email hosting and change the SMTP settings in Mail configuration in Admin CP.
