Hi,

I've installed a MyBB Forum through cPanel Softaculous Apps Installer and able to login to the Admin area. However, the main website URL is not accessible and throwing following error while browsing, I have checked the database connecting string is ok.


ACCESS DENIED!
You do not have permission to view the selected directory.


Can you please guide me if I need to make any changes from the admin side?

what is your forum url ?
do you have .htaccess file at forum's main folder ? if so, rename it as htaccess1.txt and check

also run file verification tool from below location. what does it report ?
forum admin panel >> tools & maintenance >> file verification
ignore reported images & ignore files reported from install folder & its sub-folders
