See the title of that event? It display's as follows...

Quote:<i>Chris</i> becomes...

Instead of...

Quote:Chris becomes...

This also happen's when seeing the index of the calendar -- http://www.mybboard.com/community/calendar.php (23).

Sad
That is because the calendar is not meant to parse HTML as a safety reason.
Then, can't you convert, for example, </i>'s to [/ i ]'s?

:o
No. Just use myCode ([ i ] and [ / i ]) That should work.
Are you the MyBB developer?

...

No.
But he is correct.

MyCode isn't allowed in event titles either.
Why? >_<

I don't think all browsers display it correctly. Also, it could be a potential security risk.
Allowing HTML is a security risk. As for MyCode not being supported by all browsers... that is not browser dependent. MyCode is translated to HTML by MyBB.

As for why it is not allowed... I am assuming that is just because the feature was never added. I have no idea whether it will be added in the future, though.
myCode is probably not supported because what if someone put a calendar title as size 7??

My Birthday!

Not only is it distracting, but it will muck up the page layout. Perhaps the myCode could be striped though, so it doesn't look so ugly with the un-parsed html??
