What host do you guys use?

I use siteground.com. I've had some problems with them recently (Their support team are idiots) so I'd personally recommend hostingplex.com - The extra 1$ is worth it even with the less amount of feature listings.

I see siteground all over google wherever I go. Whats wrong with them?

They call themselves experts in forum software yet they can't even spell PHP

Personally, I use A Small Orange and I am extremely happy with them. They respond to my customer support questions thoroughly and professionally literally within 5 minutes EVERY TIME!

I think it was a joke.

Though a few people here have issues with them, I use Godaddy.com! Been with them for years and haven't had too many problems with them!

Yeah, they have reasonable rates on domains and hosting! That's why I switched to them. I had been with Omnis.com, but they charged $4 a month for far less...we're talking only 5 mb of disk space! I get oh so much more now for less! Other than the occasional setback with the forum (none of which I can't work around), I've been very happy with them.

edit: by the way, I notice you're with smf. Are you considering switching to mybb??
