MyBB Community Forums

Arg.  So I am very new to all this.  I have a forum, and am running the 1.8.5 and need to update it, but don't know how (and am not tech savvy enough that I feel comfortable trying to learn how right now).  

If there is someone who I could hire to do this, please contact me ASAP, as right now I am major forum issues to the point where users are logging in and able to post under other user names, and as of this morning, I can login, and post, but then it disappears.  

I hope to hear from someone soon.

Hostgator is my host--and I know this is going to sound paranoid, but I feel like someone over there has been messing with my site.  My site helps victims of abuse, and when I called tech support last week (after some virus/porn or what not got into my site) the guy was laughing--yes, laughing, about the posts on the forum.  Since then my redirect was removed from my other site (took me a day to realize this) and now these issues.

I am planning on moving my website to liquidweb next week.

Most probably issue with your database server, ask them if their MySQL servers are up or not if they are using separate servers.
