Hello,

Does anyone know of a plugin / mod that will show the geo-location of an IP address in the Admin panel?

I searched but did not find anything...but perhaps I wasn't searching with the right terms.

Specifically, when someone registers for my forum...and I don't know who they are...I go to "Edit User"...grab their IP address...and then jump over to another website that shows me the geo-location for that IP address...so I can find out where they are from...and it would be really nice to have a plugin that shows that info right in the Admin panel | Edit User screen.

A comprehensive tracking mod would be nice, but I don't think one exists in the plugins section.

You can have a look at

which gives some basic info about the referring URL. You have to mouse hover the name to see the IP address.
