Hello,

I  am trying to install this on my web server. I put it in my public_html, both upload and documents, changed config name and set all perms. 

For some reason my website shows this: http://sonsofsabotage.com/
The actual forum is here: http://sonsofsabotage.com/index.php
Also my admin CP does not work: http://sonsofsabotage.com/admin/index.php

I want the forum to show here: http://sonsofsabotage.com/, but its not.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

public_html folder might be having index.html file. you can delete that file to load forum with domain URL.

if your web host panel has error log then check its latest entries to find the cause of the server error

if you are confused or if you need direct help then
you may PM me temporary access to your web host panel & forum admin panel
(you can give your own credentials & change them later)

Your problem seems very similar to what i had experienced if not the same exact problem. It looks like everything is working fine for you now (Atleast when I visit the site everything looks ok) but anyways you said you uploaded to documentation folder right? well that would be the problem. I ran into this ery problem myself when I had first uploaded mybb cause I had accidedently uploaded the "Documentation" folder.
