I've been looking, but I haven't been able to find which template the width of the post editor is in for say when you're making a new topic or new post, I tend to make my skins all liquid and the fixed width of the editor bugs the heck out of me, since I haven't been able to find it I figured I'd ask, so yah, thanks ahead of time.
A quick little answer..
It's in the /inc/jscripts/editor.js where the main paramaters are set for the editor.
Width 500 x Height 400..
Have a shot at changing those settings.
Maybe this won't be as simple as I though, I tried toying around with that file for a few hours, got the background to where you type to stretch properly but the actual text area just kept freaking up and reverting it's self back to a fixed size X_X
Gets tricky... when there are more that one controlling params..
You've also found out what don't work... Keep going until you crack it.
But don't forget that the PM and User CP uses the same editor with even narrower params. You may wreck those templates in the process..
