If I want to paste the free agent table from here, into the editor (either quick or full), what's the best way to do it while keeping the formatting?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016_Denve...cos_season

When I was on vBulletin, that was ok for pasting tables.  There was a 50/50 chance that it would look decent while keeping the formatting.  Sometimes for tables with lots of columns, it wouldn't be good, but other times for small tables, it was all right.
Bump?
I'm finding that this isn't just an issue when trying to paste tables from wiki.

If I try to paste a table from somewhere else too, like a Yahoo fantasy league settings table, it doesn't format well into the MyBB editor.

Any suggestions?
you can try using HTML in Posts plugin, add html posting privileges for specific groups (& specific users)
and paste tables content in visual mode of the editor

I just saw this response. I haven't tried this yet, but will let you know after I've tried it.

Thanks for the suggestion!

What do you mean by "visual mode of the editor"?  Do you mean "View Source" mode?

I tried it with "View Source" mode.

If I try that, then the text lines up, but it still doesn't look the same.

For example, I'm trying to copy the "Roster Changes" table:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016_Denve...cos_season

If I paste it in "View Source" mode, then it looks like this:

Whereas it's still missing the colors and lining up of columns from the link.

I left all settings blank so it should apply to everyone.

Whenever you get a chance, can you keep helping with this?

Bump, can anyone help?
The tables you are trying to copy belong to the wiki. They contain embedded links to their own source material. If all you want to do is fair use, find a suitable screenshot app and post a picture.

If you are willing to put some effort into formatting the basic table, then see this thread for how to set up MyCode.
https://community.mybb.com/thread-99853.html
See post #4 by itsmegogo. I followed the instructions and the attached image is a direct example of how it looks.

You can copy the raw text from the wiki, then put in the MyCode to format the table structure.

You'll probably want to provide attribution for your source material and avoid the potential for infringement.
