I am a seo company

for seo reason, i believe link in archive should be redirect to normal page

for example this archive link https://community.mybb.com/archive/index...97120.html should be not contain content, google can think it duplicate content
and should be redirect automatically to the real page https://community.mybb.com/thread-197120.html

is there settings/plugin to do this?




alternative way is disable archive completely

The archive pages serve a useful purpose, they are actually almost perfectly optimised pages.

In any case there is no plugin that will do this, and you can easily remove the links in the footer. As long as you're not linking to the pages, that should be sufficient for SEO purposes, or alternatively use meta noindex on them.
