Hello,

My jpg image is 2958 x 2781 in dimension and the file size is 720 KB.

I've set the file size in attachment types to:
.jpg image/jpeg 9.77 MB

Yet, when I do an upload, the forum goes blank/white screen.

I am able to upload other files.

Any ideas what's wrong here?

whats your max_upload_size and max_post_size in your PHP configuration?

Does the file dimensions make a difference, ie, the width and height?

Yeah now that I think about it, if the image size is too large, it might take too much memory when MyBB tries to make a thumbnail out of it. Could you try disabling thumbnail generation? I think it's in Admin CP --> Settings --> Posting
