if your web host panel has server error log then check its latest entries to find the cause of error 500

^ that should not be a cause for the internal server error (error 500)
however you can add thx.css file from the Thanks plugin's pack to that reported location
are you able to login to forum admin panel ?
if so run file verification tool from below location. what does it report ?
admin panel >> tools & maintenance >> file verification
ignore reported images & ignore files reported from install folder & its sub-folders

I don't know that much php or other codes i can log admin panel there is no issue
