I can't access to my board (silenceandwhispers.icyboards.net) due to the following error. What's going on? I have MyBB 1.8.7, hosted by Icyboards.

MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.
SQL Error:1040 - Too many connectionsQuery:[READ] Unable to connect to MySQL server
Please contact the MyBB Group for technical support.

Too many connections usually something to contact your host about, but I see your site is up again.

It comes and goes. Similar issue on the icyboard support forum.

Your host needs to have a look at the load of the SQL server.

We had an issue with spam that has since been resolved.
