Hi,

I was looking for a way to access my website's forum: https://reapersquadron.com/index.php just by using https://forums.reapersquadron.com. I've read something about moving the files to a folder i.e. /forums, but I'm not quite sure just which files I'm supposed to move. I was looking for a way to be able to access the regular homepage without it having to use the /forum/ URL.

Not quite sure how I'm supposed to achieve this in the best possible way, without messing anything up.

Thanks in advance.
you have to temporarily put forum offline, change board url & cookie settings at Site Details page
of Configuration section and then move all MyBB related files to forums sub-folder & use sub-domain

see also cookie settings guidance
Hi .m.,

If I move all the files into a forums sub-folder, will does that include the custom ones i.e. home.php, teamspeak.php etc? Or can I leave them as they are? I don't want it to say /forums/teamspeak.php for example when accessing that particular page.
^ depends on how those files are coded. if they include global.php file of MyBB then
you may have to change path of it in those files & retain those custom files at the main folder of your domain.
Never mind, I just misunderstood you a bit. I'll test around. Already marking this as solved, as it's no big deal if I can't quite get it working. Thanks!

Have to re-open this. I've done some testing around, but just can't get it the way I want it to be. For example I would want the homepage to be just reapersquadron.com (home.php). Forums to be /forums. Roster/Memberlist to just be /roster etc. Is it possible to split them up like such? I'm sure that includes changing a lot of the code?
