Firefox users know that you can add custom search engines to the browser like Youtube, Amazon, ... I created a plugin for MyBB 1.2.* to enable users to add a MyBB board to this list.
When a user didn't install the search engine yet the button next to the searchbox will light up:

When the user clicks on that button he will have the option to add your search engine:
[attachment=6492]
After that you can just insert keywords in that box to search your MyBB board:
[attachment=6493]
There are a few extra search options
If you would like to use this plugin, download the attachted zip and extract in the root folder of your MyBB installation and activate the plugin.
