Seems to work fine when I click on a link to go to a post in the forum.  Again, not when I click to go to a forum.

Can't open them with the un-zip software I have. Did you want me to post the logs?

Upload them to another uploading site (e.g. mega.co.nz)

by any chance have you edited forumdisplay.php file ? better to replace it with original file
if required, download fresh pack of MyBB source files & from it re-upload forumdisplay.php file
