I have the shout box installed on the index on my message board. I was wondering if there was a way for a guest not to be able to even view the shout box. Right now I have it so that the board is only viewable to members. I want to change that but I don't want the guest to be able to see the shout box. If anyone knows how to make the shout box only viewable to members on the index page and let me know that would be great.

Which shoutbox you are talking about? Is it the Shoutbox 2.0 or SpiceFuse AJAX shoutbox?

If it's SpiceFuse one, then you can go to admin cp -> settings -> SpiceFuse AJAX shoutbox and turn off "Guests can view shoutbox".
