Hello, 

I kinda forgot how I did this in the past, but my site used to be example.com but now I've changed my forum to example.com/forums

so I was wondering, all the little forum links and etc we created already how can we get them updated to the new url change.

Go to your inc/settings.php file and edit bburl and cookiedomain.
After this, log into Admin CP and update the settings there related to domain.
That should work fine than.

Well I've done that, but I meant like the little links that has been posted in the forum topics and etc.

What WallBB suggested should work.
Assuming you updated the settings in ACP but you keep getting broken links for topics, did you refresh your cache?
