I upgraded from 1.6 something to 1.8.7 and now there appears to be no separator between one users post and the next on down the line. I attached a picture of  a screen shot of the message board.

I tried doing a search and maybe my terms did not make sense to the search engine. Can someone tell me where in the admin section I can clean this up and make it visually look better? Maybe a color difference of dark and light between posts?

Rob
You obviously need to upgrade / update your theme to be compatible with 1.8
I downloaded "Square", used filezilla to upload all the stuff to the main directory. Imported the xml file and set square to default. Nothing displays on the forum but a blank page. I tried to revert back to default and nothing but a blank screen still. How did I break it?

You have a blank index.html on your server, perhaps delete it or just re-upload the MyBB package entirely?
your forum link lead to a blank page
also if you did update from 1.6 to 1.8
theme must be changed
When I added index.php to the end of your address like this:
http://forum.mdwfa.org/MyBB/index.php

Your forum comes right up.. I see you are using the square theme, and there are existing categories and posts.

Where are you getting the error because the posts are all fine as I have the same theme and it looks like that.

I would suggest going into your admin and placing the index.php on the end of your web address and if you have access to an adin panel with your host, redirect the address there.  Smile

Thank you as that worked and where in Admin do I change the web address? I figured this was a personal browser thing and not a forum setting, but maybe I am wrong? Google index's it as index.php also. Maybe my entire problem was when you click "View Forum" in the Admin Control Panel it post the html address minus the index.html which gives me the white screen.
