Hey guys I'm on the verge of completing a new really sexy theme, In this theme I had to get rid of the forum icons, So there are no indicators for new posts or read posts. I was just wondering if there is anyway to display a new post indicator if I have removed the following out of my forum bit_depth_2
Is there any other way around this?

However now is there anyway to count the number of unread posts??
