Hello
Another quick question.. I edited the default user permissions and allowed the Unregistered/ Guest users to post replies to threads. But still they cannot reply to the posts and forum requires them to register first before posting replies..
How can I enable the guest users to post replies ?
Thanks for your time and consideration
Biju
You need to set the forum permissions for that. May I ask what your link is?
Hi Biju
I hope you don't mind but I already checked your acc. Your link is
www.educationobserver.com/forums which has the correct link backs to mybb, Meaning your are allowed support so there is no need to post your link. Please refer to these images for your solution

If this has solved your query, please add positive reputation. However if this has not resolved your issue, please PM me and I will work this through with you
It also appears as if educationobserver has not got /forums/admin as main directory. Kudos on changing that, may I suggest a honeypot? I use /admin as a honeypot and my real as an encrypted link name (usually 64bit)
HI Izak...
Thanks for your reply. I tried changing the permissions at the users& groups control panel, not at the forum level.
Sometime before, I tried allowing the guest users to post in a forum. But there also I faced another problem. Please have a look at the thread I posted (but nobody replied)

Thanks again for your time ...
with best regards
I see. Let me find a resolution if I can
Did you ensure that you had typed something in the field "Username"?
Please find a link to what had occured on a fresh install with permissions changed so guests may post
