I need a way for my Private forums Where you have to get a Referral code from a admin to signup. How do I do this? This is a private forums for a group of people I am apart of. Or my other option you need to get a approved by a admin to sign up?
I have on my mind two ways to do this.
You can disable user registrations and add manually accounts for them in acp
Or make security question wich will be that code that noone will know except peoples to who you told that. And after one registration, you can change it so you will be sure noone can use same code later

There's a setting for that in your Admin Control Panel, enable it.

Yup, that way anyone will be able to register but they will be in group "Awaiting activation"
