i have a problem with the mybb portal.php page.

It is set to show news posts from a specific forum. When you load the portal, it show that these posts exist and it show the title, but it doesn't show any text.

The post text only appears once you have clicked on the post and gone to the post page.

Any idea what is wrong ???

I remember there was a bug reported of that nature a while ago, but I don't think we ever got down to the root of the problem.

Have you modified the forum in any way?

It was a problem I experienced a long while ago too. Do you perhaps copy some words or some text into your announcements? I think it's relating to a utf-8 bug which doesn't display the text if the charsets are mix-matched.

yeah i have a few plugins installed, and a modified global file, but i don't think tat is the problem

is there anything i can do to overcome a possible utf-8 conflict ??
